Mozilla and Google 10 years ties split as Mozilla Joins Yahoo.

After long awaited decision of Mozilla foundation to leave google and make yahoo as thier default
search engine is now official as from this december mozilla will change from google.com to yahoo.com as thier default search engine.

The tie between google and mozilla were laid in the year 2005 when mozilla was launched, then in year 2008 google launched  Today's most used webs browser chrome.


Subsequently mozilla user start to fall from march 2011 and and now it ranks 2nd in most used web browsers.Currently Yahoo have decide this change for amercican user has not still revealed about what will it do in Rest of the world.



"We are excited to partner with Yahoo to bring a new, re-imagined Yahoo search experience to Firefox users in the U.S. featuring the best of the Web, and to explore new innovative search and content experiences together,” said Chris Beard, Mozilla CEO.

Commented on the new partnership, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer said, “This partnership helps to expand our reach in search and also gives us an opportunity to work closely with Mozilla to find ways to innovate more broadly in search, communications, and digital content.”
