Good news for jee-2013 aspirants No admission criteria will be changed for entrance in JEE-mains and advance

As per the dainik jagran [varanasi edition]  JEE-2013 admission in JEE-2013 will be made through normal admission criteria with certain changes i.e. Students have to follow either

• 60% criteria or he has to lie in  20 percentile in 12th exam of his respective board
• core and advanced courses for examination shall be same 

Students can either appear in exam if  he meet above criteria or he can opt for improvement exam if he is a cbse student

Improvement of Performance (IOP)

Guidelines:

Improvement Exam can be taken in one or more subjects in the succeeding year only after passing the subject in Class XII.
 The examination would take place in March and the result will be declared in May.
A candidate cannot appear for improvement examination in the subjects which he/she failed to pass.
The fees per subject to be submitted is Rs.200 (may change).
The Application Forms will be released in August till October and can be collected from regional offices or syndicate bank branches.
Candidates will be issued only Statement of Marks reflecting the marks of the improvement examination.
